In 1985, I graduated from Millikin University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and worked at various teaching hospitals in specialty fields of Oncology, Geriatric, & Neurology. 

In 2000, I graduated from the University of Illinois at Springfield with a Master's Degree in Human Development Counseling.  I have been in private practice as a Licensed Clinical Counselor since 2003.

It is truly a rewarding experience to help my clients work through difficult issues, whether they need to get rid of unwanted pounds or cope with a medical illness. 

I also help clients heal from emotional abuse.  It is amazing to watch people transform before my eyes and become the person they were meant to be after leaving their abusive situation.

Marital or couples therapy is a wonderful challenge that often ends in a surprising twist for those who see me: they discover the healing capacity of their union and decide to stay together when they thought it was hopeless. I enjoy guiding couples in the right direction as they reconnect and transform each other's lives.

My goal is to make your therapy visits affordable.  I am on several major health insurance panels that require a reasonable co-pay at each visit.
